Life is good. Oh yes indeed it is. Totally awesome and rocking.
My absence from the blog for sometime has been due to this flippin wicked game called Sims 2. It has kept me busy for sometime, exchanging violence and killing of Counterstrike for the peaceful, family building simulation of the Sims 2. Very nice game. Note of warning though, don't start cause u'll get addicted.
But anyways me and my friend were chit chatting that day and he said "My life is becoming meaningless". So I asked him what he meant by that and he said it was the same old rountine stuff, wake up, go class, come back from class, eat, chill out, sleep. Repeat process day after day. And mind you this isn't coming from some slacker numero, but from a guy who one of the most intelligent people i've met. So it got me wondering, if my friend, who by far is intellectually more supreme than the average Ah Beng(or Ah Lian) out there and the No 1 Mr Nice Guy you'll ever meet, finds life meaningless, how many others out there would feel the same too(for those who actually stop to think about it)?
So where's the meaning in our lives..? Success? Awesome grades, awesome job, fantastic pay, a social life that rocks, friends who'd stick by you no matter what, girlfriend, boyfriend, money, good family, your dreams coming true blah blah...... do you find it there? Or is it found in something deeper?
Think about it.

take counterstrike. it's a game where bonding is forged, where goodwill is fostered. playing sims will prolly make you even more antisocial. the stress from trying to make your virtual self mroe successful can wait til you actually have to experience it first hand no? =]
