Got home after work yesterday, walked into the house, walked into the room, noticed that something my laptop was missing, and mouse and mic was on the floor, speakers were upturned, my drawers were open, my guitar pedal was emptied out of my bag.
The muppet came in from the kitchen window and made of with my laptop and cash that I kept in the drawer. Thankfully, none of my other housemates stuff were touched.
The dude (or dudes) took the money which was meant for my tithe for the month. I think he(they) is(are) screwed for stealing that money. FACE YOUR MAKER AND DIE! FOOL!!! (hooray for grammatically correct english)
Moral of the story:
- Close your windows. Even if you live on the 12th floor, when there's a will, there's a way for them.
- Buy desktops. Big bulky stuff is hard to transport out of the window from 12 storey's above.
- Don't leave substantial amounts of cash in the house.
- Get home contents insurance.
I surprisingly, am more upset at the fact that I suffered from food poisoining last night and couldn't sleep properly than from the theft incident. But I am also thankful they didn't steal my guitar stuff, or else i'd have been absolutely livid. That one I guarantee will hunt them down to the ends of the earth and hang them by wiring a guitar string through their balls.
Anyways. Other than the loss of the two items (laptop and cash) , nothing else was taken and no one was hurt, so that's all good.
Time to go buy a new computer.

but, in my experience... every time something was taken away from me, God always replaced it with something much much better ;)
